A letter from the creator

Hi Guys,

My name is Michael. I have been thinking about ADAK for the past two years and building the platform for the past several months.

After my days as a high jumper at Duke and USC, I found it difficult to meet folks with similar backgrounds and interests. I have a few scars from charity sports leagues where the other players didn't quite "get it".

I am building the ADAK app to be a place where you can discover other college & pro athletes in your area, coordinate around shared interests, and connect at a time that works for you.

The app has been mostly boot strapped to date so if this sounds like something you are interested in, and you’d like to send over a few bucks for coffee, I'd appreciate it.

Hope to see you on the app in a few months!

-Michael

The ADAK name

The ADAK name comes from the smallest forest in the country. The Adak National “Forest” is a small grove of trees on a remote Alaskan island. These trees have survived the harsh Alaskan conditions because they found a way to come together.

Our vision for ADAK is to create a platform that brings the athletic community together around the sports and hobbies we all love.
